A Week of Success: 13th - 17th March

Last week was an incredible time for job seekers and employers alike, as The UK Careers Fair hosted a series of four exciting events across the country. With impressive turnout rates and an incredible range of companies attending, these events were a great success.

Lincoln - County Assembly Rooms (15/03/2023)

The first event kicked off in Lincoln at the beautiful County Assembly Rooms. A smaller-scale event than usual, Job seekers and employers came together to network, share insights, and explore opportunities. Renowned companies like Lidl GB, Anglian Water Services, The Music Consortium, Avon, and Priory were in attendance, offering a diverse range of opportunities for candidates.

Colchester - JobServe Stadium (16/03/2023)

Next, the Colchester event took place at the JobServe Stadium, attracting a fantastic array of more than 30 businesses, including the University of Essex, AmeyBriggs, Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline, County Broadband, British Army, and Enterprise. This event provided a unique platform for candidates to meet potential employers and learn about various industries.

Edinburgh - Assembly Rooms (16/03/2023)

Edinburgh's Assembly Rooms hosted the third event with over 50 companies, drawing a huge crowd despite the rail strikes. The variety of companies in attendance was truly impressive, with participants like Biffa, Bupa, Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland | Formerly Jurys Inn, Greggs, The University of Edinburgh, BURGER KING® UK and Lothian Buses showcasing a wide range of opportunities for job seekers.

Glasgow - Hampden Park (17/03/2023)

The last event of the week took place at Hampden Park in Glasgow. It was packed with enthusiastic job seekers and 62 top-notch companies such as William Hill, BAE Systems, Optical Express, Scottish Prison Service, and Arnold Clark.

Across all four events, attendees had the chance to connect with well over 100 companies from various sectors, including transportation, retail, engineering, and more. This unique opportunity allowed job seekers to speak directly with representatives from these top companies, while providing an excellent platform for businesses to promote their brand and attract top talent.
