• Acting as liaison between all key support staff who are working with young people offering advice, guidance and signposting as required.
• Leading the planning of the shift with other team members as and when required.
• Being able to refer young people to appropriate services with your professional opinion considering the most effective team/services.
• Supporting the group of young people, providing 1:1 and weekly groupwork sessions.
• Applying trauma informed knowledge to your work with young people and ensure this, where appropriate embodies the practice that is provided to our young people. We offer successful candidates a good training and induction programme, to enable the above.
• You will also need to be available for Rota duty to provide support to young people during the week and weekends. This will be applied on a shift pattern basis, typically shifts run 7am - 11pm, 7am-3pm, 3pm - 11pm, sleep-ins 11pm-8am. Sleep In are paid at an additional £50 per night.
