Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – BFS Healthcare

As a Healthcare Assistant at BFS Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients across various healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care – Assist patients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Mobility Assistance – Support patients with transfers, positioning, and walking.
• Health Monitoring – Observe and report vital signs and any changes to the nursing team.
• Emotional Support – Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.
• Documentation – Maintain accurate patient records and report any observations or concerns to senior staff.
• Collaboration – Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
• Adherence to Standards – Deliver care in accordance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and best practice standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience – Previous experience in healthcare or caring roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Training – Must complete mandatory training, including Manual Handling, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other BFS Healthcare-specific programs.

Registered Nurse (RN) – BFS Healthcare

As a Registered Nurse at BFS Healthcare, you will provide expert care to patients, overseeing their health and well-being while leading and supervising healthcare assistants. You will ensure that all medical and personal care needs are met, maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care – Administer medications, perform treatments, and oversee patient care plans in line with healthcare standards and company policies.
• Patient Assessment – Conduct thorough health assessments, including physical and mental evaluations, to develop tailored care plans.
• Team Leadership – Supervise, mentor, and support healthcare assistants and junior staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Health Monitoring – Regularly monitor vital signs, perform medical tests, and respond to changes in patient conditions, adjusting care as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting – Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, care plans, medication administration records, and incident reports.
• Collaboration – Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external services to provide holistic patient care.
• Patient Education – Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and prevention strategies.
• Compliance and Safety – Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control, and safeguarding protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education – Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with an active NMC registration.
