Job Title: Service Engineer – Competitive Salary, Bonus scheme, Company pension, based in Spennymoor, DL16 Responsible To: Sales Manager Uk Power & Service Basic Purpose: Service CJC Filtration Units/Equipment, Mechanically and Electrically and offer Technical Support on Service issues, where appropriate. Main Duties:(not listed in order or priority) Prepare, Repair and Maintain CJC Units/Equipment for Hire/Trial/Sale Service and Repair and Customers’ CJC Units/Equipment on site and in house Prepare CJC Inserts/Units/Spares Orders for despatch Stock Rotation and Replenishment Provide Internal and External Technical Support, where appropriate, regarding CJC Equipment range Fork Truck Driving License (preferred) Site Work with overnight stays Cooperation & supervision of contractors in the field Other Responsibilities: Co-ordinate CJC Workshop, Warehouse and Site Services Function at Spennymoor on a day-to-day basis Maintain accurate records for service/oil sampling/hire Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures as Detailed in the Company Handbook Decisions Made: Prioritise day-to-day activities relating to work schedules, materials/equipment/site services requirements. Knowledge & Skills Required: Formal apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering required. In depth knowledge of Pumps, Valves, Control systems and Electric Motors to facilitate the service and repair of CJC Filtration Units, Equipment and related ancillary devices. A sound knowledge of Industrial Lubrication and Hydraulic Oils would be beneficial. A good working knowledge of stock control, inventory management using computer spreadsheets, Health & Safety at Work procedures. Special Working Conditions: Loading/unloading of delivery vehicles using a fork truck. Any Other Relevant Comments: Requirement for traveling and overnight stays in relation to training and / or Customer Support Site (service) activities.
