Here is a comprehensive list of events that Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust will be attending, all aimed at connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and education levels:
Dawn, Administrator, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust: “Working as an Administrator in a prison can be a rewarding, yet sometimes challenging career in an environment like no other. As healthcare, we have a duty of care to every patient and we strive to deliver safe and effective care to each individual. When I first applied for a role in a prison I was very apprehensive as to how I would feel and looked at it as a bit of a gamble. What if I didn’t like it? What if I felt threatened? I have now been working here for 14 months and I have to say it was the best career decision I have made.”
Ellen, Clinical Lead, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust: “Oxleas is a great place to develop your career and they provide you with a lot of learning opportunities. Working in the prison service can seem scary at first but you'll have the support you need from your team to make a difference every day. I see the prison as an individual community where I work with a variety of people and provide urgent care, routine health screens like a GP practice and complex needs care to the patients. I have the unique opportunity to support someone throughout their time in prison and make a significant difference to their lives. Furthermore, see them grow, change and improve their general health”
Jack Rossiter, Sales Manager, The UK Careers Fair: “I am absolutely thrilled to announce our exciting partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust! We couldn't be happier that they have chosen to book onto multiple events with us across the South West of England. We know their contributions will make our events even more valuable. Their participation in our events will be significantly beneficial and I'm certain they will be well-received. I look forward to working with them over the next year and am eagerly anticipating the opportunity for our candidates to interact with them directly.”
